Joan Stewart

Joan is a learning consultant with a background in adult, further and higher education whose experience in other sectors allows her to offer a unique blend of expertise. She has undertaken analysis, information gathering, organizational development, facilitation and training assignments in the public sector, including the NHS, private and voluntary sector. She has also taken time out to complete a Masters in Training and Human Resource Management.

Joan has a pragmatic approach to business issues that ensures that the learning solutions offered are appropriate to the culture of the organization and address the learning styles of participants. Her expertise lies in increasing the awareness of individuals to enable them to interact more effectively. She achieves success by using a variety of learning approaches that challenge perceptions and remove self imposed limitations.

Her recent assignments have included designing and running in-house communication courses and programmes tailored to the needs of local government and other public sector organizations.
